Ever since the conversion of this historic brick mill building to rentable artists studios began in 2005, Western Avenue Studios (or WAS as it’s known) has become an integral part of the cultural life of Lowell and Greater Boston.  Now the next phase of the project is about to open to the arts community:  affordably-priced live/work spaces known as Western Avenue Lofts.
